Medium-sized tree producing copious white latex, bearing a few fruit on the main trunk and branches. Leaves obovate, shiny, dark green.

This is the first record for the Western division of Zimbabwe. Stephen Long, the finder, reported that "the plant is growing on a mound of earth that was left on an abandoned road a couple of years ago by a DDF roads team so I'd guess the seed fell off a vehicle that had previously been working on a road somewhere in the communal lands".

Just coming into flower; originally bought from Emerald Seedlings. Sepals greenish-yellow. Tube frilly at the apex.
