Description:
Small epiphytic herb with a short stem up to 2 cm. Leaves in 2-4 pairs, near-linear, stiff and somewhat leathery, up to 6 cm long. Inflorescences borne below the leaves on slender, wiry flowering stems, few-flowered. Flowers yellowish-green, 6-7 mm in diameter with the saccate spur of 2-3 mm normally curved around the ovary.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: sacciferum: carrying a pouch, probably referring to the pouch-like or saccate spur.
