Description: |
Slender herb to 50 cm tall. Leaves 2-6, grass-like, narrowly linear, acuminate, absent or just beginning to appear at flowering time. Inflorescence several- to many-flowered; scape almost covered with papery sheaths. Flowers bright yellow, column and spur often tinged with red. Sepals and petals similar; sepals 4-9.5 mm long, oblong-lanceolate; petals 4.2-8 mm long, oblanceolate. Lip 3-lobed; side lobes rounded, mid-lobe oblong-obovate, obtuse or emarginate; callus of 2-3 basal ridges with 3-5 lines of papillae on the mid-lobe. Spur slender, horizontal. Capsule 20 mm long, pendent. |
