Description:	Shrub or subshrub 0.6-1.2 m tall, with numerous, much branched stems, without hairs. Leaves glaucous, ovate to round, almost as broad as long, petiole 1-5 mm long. The leaf pair often folded, enclosing the developing fruit. Flowers solitary, fruit up to 8 x 10 mm, with 1-3 pyrenes.
