Description: |
Annual or short-lived perennial with slender, decumbent or trailing culms 35–100 cm long. Leaves lanceolate, 5–13 cm long and 5–16 mm wide, flat. Panicle broadly ovate in outline, 6–22 cm long, sparsely to moderately branched. Spikelets ovate, 2–3 mm. long, hairless; inferior glume 3/4 to as long as the spikelet, 3-veined; superior glume 5–7-veined; inferior lemma 5-veined; superior lemma and palea pallid, glossy. |
