Description:

Robust climber. Leaves ovate or triangular with hastate or cordate base. Inflorescence of slender axillary racemes, paniculate and terminal above; racemes usually ending in branched tendrils. Perianth segments bright pink or white, accrescent. Stamens 7-8 united below into a tube. Achene c. 1 cm long, brown, shiny, 3-angled above, enclosed in the persistent perianth and staminal tube. |
