Description:
Tall tree to 30 m, branching well above the ground with upwardly directed primary branches; hence its common name of 'Reach-for-the-sky'. Leaves large, to 1 m, narrowly elliptic in outline; pinnae 15-20 pairs. Leaflets 2-4 cm, oblong, obtuse. Flowers golden-yellow. Fruit 8-12 cm, oblong, obtuse, flattened. Seed 1, winged.
