A low growing herb with stems arising from a large branched, soft-woody rootstock. Leaves subsessile, mostly 3-4 × 0.5-1.4 cm. Capitula appearing before or with the new foliage, 1-many, borne just above ground level, solitary and terminal on short stalks. |
