Usually a herbaceous climber with thick succulent, glabrous stems, sometimes a weakly erect herb or shrub. Leaves 4.5-7 × 1.5-3 cm, glabrous, elliptic or obovate; base attenuate into a weakly defined petiole up to 3.5 cm; apex acute; margin irregularly serrate. Inflorescence a branched corymbose panicle. Capitula usually radiate, less often without rays. Phyllaries 3-4 mm. Rays (if present) yellow. Ovary hairy. |
