Description:
Liane or climbing shrub. Branchlets without conspicuous leaf scars. Leaves: lamina 8-14 × 4-8 cm, pinnatifid, glaucous, fleshy, base amplexicaul; margin with 1-4 large runcinate irregularly-arranged teeth on each side of the lamina. Capitula compact, tubular, in many rounded clusters. Florets yellow.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: angulatus: angled probably referring to the sharply angled lobes on the leaves.
