Description:
Hairless perennial woody twining herb with milky latex. Leaves opposite, oblong-ovate to broadly ovate, 4-14 cm long, thinly textured, rounded or cordate at the base, hairless on both surfaces, sometimes sparsely and minutely puberulous above; petiole up to 7.5 cm long. Flowers in rather densely several-many-flowered, axillary, subglobose umbels; corolla green or yellow; tube usually about 6-8 mm long, globose-inflated, constricted at the mouth, hairless outside, densely hairy at the throat, with 5 lines of hairs alternating with the corona-lobes on the lower part; lobes linear, obtuse, spreading, recurved or revolute, often twisted, densely bearded at the base and shortly hairy along above; corona-lobes erect, elliptic-lanceolate or somewhat obovate, slightly recurved at the apex, with a linear appendage.
