Description: |
Annual or short-lived perennial herb with prostrate branches up to 25 cm long. Leaves opposite, oblong-ovate, up to 13 mm long with a rounded apex, subcordate at the base, hairless; margin entire; petiole up to 1 mm long; stipules linear, up to 1.5 mm long. Flower cymes in terminal and pseudoaxillary clusters. Glands 4, transversely elliptic c.0.7 mm wide with conspicuous white, pink or red appendages. Capsule acutely 3-lobed c. 1.8 mm long, hairy on the angles, just exserted on a reflexed pedicel up to 2 mm long. |
