Description: |
Annual herb with slender, crisped pubescent stems. Leaves linear to narrowly elliptic, 1.5-10 cm long, mostly hairless, except sometimes with minute hairs on the midrib and margins. Flowers in terminal or lateral racemes, fairly lax in this subspecies, greenish-white, creamy-white, pale pink or blueish. Wing-sepals 4-6 mm long. Capsule broadly oblong in outline, 4.5 mm long with ciliate marginal wings. |
