Description: |
Small tree. Leaves spirally arranged, palmate, usually with 5 leaflets, sometimes 3, glossy dark green, hairless, apex with a soft hair-like tip; petiole up to 10 cm long. Flowers in axillary or terminal few-flowered spikes; petals long and narrow, white; stamens numerous, up to 4 cm long. Fruit ellipsoid, up to 4.5 × 2.5 cm, smooth or slightly grooved, brown, splitting into 4 valves. |
