Liane with a woody rootstock. The leaves are subpeltate, ovate-cordate and covered in greyish indumentum; mucronate at the apex; flowers axillary or in false racemes, sexes separate; fruits green, turning bright red when ripe, held in pubescent leaf-like bracts. |
