Description: |
Woody climber. Leaves pinnate with 5-7 ovate leaflets; margins crenate-dentate, some teeth larger giving the leaflet a lobed appearance. Inflorescences many-flowered, sweetly scented. Flowers creamy white. Fruits covered by conspicuous feathery remains of the styles. The masses of flowers, covering entire trees and shrubs form a spectacular display, which is continued by the display of the feathery styles on the fruits. |
