Description: |
This species is generally very similar to Xyris rubella but can be distinguished by the smooth, not finely wrinkled sheaths and laminas; the incurved, obtuse or mucronate (not straight and aristate) leaf laminas, and in the more strongly keeled, emarginate and apiculate fertile bracts. |
