Description: |
Rhizome erect or creeping; rhizome scales up to 15 mm long, entire, golden-brown, linear-attenuate. Fronds tufted, arching, thinly herbaceous. Stipe 30-50 cm long, straw-coloured, with dark brown scales with paler margins, 3-8 mm long. Lamina 2-pinnatifid, up to 90 × 44 cm, oblong-lanceolate in outline, acute, basal pinnae not reduced. Pinnae alternate, narrowly oblong, attenuate; ultimate segments narrowly oblong in outline, entire, subglabrous, short white hairs on the veins on the upper surface and the costae & costules on the lower surface. Sori small, round, 22-28 per lobe situated in 2 lines along the costules; indusia kidney shaped, brown, with minute hairs. |
