60 cm high; Herb; Notes: Annual herb. Rich, grey-black soil.

Notes: Rosette plant. Relatively spreading. Runner, with numerous young plants. The inflorescence is 1,4m high and has 7 branches. The flowers are an old pink colour. The involures have white edges. Life plant. Flowered in the garden of W. Giess, Windhoek. 22 June 1971.Sheet 3.

Graminoid; Notes: Up to 3 m high omuramba-grass. Used to build huts and roofs.

Notes: Lower lip pointed, boat shaped folded and margin very crenulate. Flower coloue intensier that at Andara. Plants fruiting in hort WG, Windhoek.

Climber, more than 1 m high winding in bush. Petals very narrow (0,5 mm) white with reddish veins. Sweet scent. Fruit up to 7 mm diameter, more or less inconspicuously tri-lobed, 2 lobes not completely developed.

Notes: Prostrate to upright. Shoots to 50 cm long. Sheaths often very small in leaf axils. Terminal sheaths round, boat-like. Flowers blue. Live plant together with Eulophobia sp. from Andara. Flowers in garden of W. Giess, Windhoek. Corr. nom.: SB 8.2003.
