Petals inserted at the mouth of the calyx tube. Stamens 10-many. Carpel 1, style terminal; ovules 2. Fruit drupaceous, indehiscent, 1(-2)-seeded. Worldwide: 200 species in temperate zones and on tropical mountains Burundi: 2 taxa. |
