25 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 25 m tall. Single trunk, yellowish and somewhat powdery. Strong, paired, hooked thorns. Branches come out somewhat horizontally. Leaves large and feathery, with more than 15 pinnae pairs and a very large, squat, petiolar gland. Flowers: cream coloured, in long spikes. Fruits: pods papery - leathery, long and narrow, reddish brown.

8 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 8 m tall. Trunk simple, somewhat rough but yellowish. Spines long and narrow, younger ones short. Leaves with 15 pinnae pairs, pinnules small and closely packed. Large gland at base of first pinnae pair. Can get into very large trees with spreading canopy. Common. Voucher for Tree Atlas Project.
