25 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 25 m tall. Single trunk, yellowish and somewhat powdery. Strong, paired, hooked thorns. Branches come out somewhat horizontally. Leaves large and feathery, with more than 15 pinnae pairs and a very large, squat, petiolar gland. Flowers: cream coloured, in long spikes. Fruits: pods papery - leathery, long and narrow, reddish brown.

8 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 8 m tall. Trunk simple, somewhat rough but yellowish. Spines long and narrow, younger ones short. Leaves with 15 pinnae pairs, pinnules small and closely packed. Large gland at base of first pinnae pair. Can get into very large trees with spreading canopy. Common. Voucher for Tree Atlas Project.

1.6 m high; Shrub; Notes: Shrub, 1.6 m high. Yellowish green stems. Straight white thorns with darker tips.

Tree; Notes: Tree, 25 m tall, with single trunk. Leaves: with pulvinus. Leaflets hairless, discolorous, slightly sickle-shaped with oblique midrib, opposite. Leaves alternate. Flowers: with 4 green sepals, boat-shaped, curled back. Two fused pinkish petals and 7 green stamens, whole flower very open. Fruits: pods large, dark, woody, with large black and red seeds inside.

80 cm high; Shrub; Notes: Shrub, 80 cm tall, riverine. Stems: reddish-brown, hairy, with tiny, hooked, scattered thorns. Rachis hairy, glandular, with paired thorns between pinnae. Flowers in pink balls. Pods: in clusters. Very hairy and glandular.

Creeper; Notes: Creeper with woody stem, fluted. young stems green and deeply fluted. Leaves compound, stiff, shiny green. Petiole and rachis winged. Leaflet shiny, smooth, bright green, margin irregularly toothed, venation prominent. Flowers in axillary spikes and long peduncle, with a tendril at top of peduncle. Creamy white with yellow stamens.

10 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 10 m high. Stem: 4 thin, smooth grey stems, all growing together. Flowers: mauve/lilac. Fruit/seed: new pods reddish/green. Someone has dug a hole around the trunk and the tree is leaning.

160 cm high; Shrub; Notes: Shrub, 160 cm tall, consist of 4 stems, rough, brown, with white lenticels. Milky latex. Leaves lanceolate, discolorous, velvety, especially below. Pods on tip of branch above leaves. Two woody, dehiscent valves.
